Storytellers rooted in the Lowcountry.
Boda Studios started out of a love for creating content, with a background in film, television, and live theater. It grew from helping people in our own network who needed real video, and it’s been one person from day one. The moment it became real: a hockey coffee collab between Sir Owlverick’s (Wild Ones Coffee) and the Anaheim Ducks landed two commercials on NHL.com’s homepage. That’s when it stopped being a hobby.
Family brought us to Charleston. A COVID era shutdown and a growing family made the question of where to put down roots a real one, and Charleston meant getting closer to where we grew up, splitting the distance between two families rooted in Tennessee and Florida.
It starts with a lifelong love of cinema, and the relationships that come with the work: getting to know a business well enough to tell its real story. That's personal. Watching a business owner invest in their community was something Casey's father did, and it shapes how we work with every client.
Cinematic is the house style, a little dramatic rather than clean and safe by default, though the client's vision always comes first. What separates good video from bad rarely comes down to the camera. It's lighting, depth, and audio, the things people most underestimate.
Hands-on, start to finish. Every client gets Casey's direct number and email, because he's overseeing every project personally from first call to final delivery. The best work comes from real partnership: what a client knows about their business shapes the piece as much as our instincts do.
Boda Studios is a small video production crew that works like a bigger one: corporate video, brand film, event coverage, and photography, all handled in-house from pre-production through final delivery. Every project runs through the same team: strategy and production leadership, creative and visual direction, on-site production support, and photography and event coverage.
